“Empfehlenswert.”

The hotel’s classic charm and excellent location were great. The entrance to the hotel’s parking lot (Via Caimi 1) is difficult because the car navigation system shows the turn into the dead end where the hotel entrance actually is as impossible and leads users “lost” in circles until they give up on the navigation and still try. A message to Google Maps and better signs on Via Caimi are absolutely necessary.

“Ci ritornerò sicuramente per turismo!”

The location is fantastic. The hotel is centrally located. The staff is courteous and helpful. The room is very spacious. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety.

“Sì e no”

The location is super central, the breakfast is more than satisfying and the staff are friendly. They assigned us a room for disabled people. There was no window, only a balcony. On the floor the carpet was dirty and the bathroom flooded while showering… people who are unfortunate and not autonomous are not treated like this!

Everything, from the staff to the hotel itself, was simply perfect! The breakfast was very sparse and not tasty, not up to the hotel’s level, plus the bar had very limited drink options, the wine list was poor for Italy, and the worst Aperol we drank during the week we stayed in Italy.

“Goede ligging”

We got a room with air‑conditioning, but it couldn’t cope with the heat; outside it was 34 °C while the room stayed around 26.5‑27 °C. After asking, they moved us to a slightly smaller room where the AC felt a bit stronger, yet the temperature still hovered at 25 °C. The front desk was very helpful, though. The hotel sits right in the middle of Sondrio’s central square, a great spot with decent parking right at the property. The AC just wasn’t enough and the breakfast was rather meagre, Italian‑style. There was a bar, but it closed at 22:00, which was disappointing.
