“Un peu cher pour ce que c’est”

The climate control, fridge, kettle, daily housekeeping, and backup generator kept power outages from happening; the staff were sweet and helpful, and the beach was nearby though not well maintained. The room offered plenty of storage, but the left window slats in room 101 were damaged and didn’t close fully, letting in heat and mosquitoes. The price feels high because breakfast isn’t included, the building looks a bit old, and there are no chairs in the room.

The location is lovely, and the rooms and pool are great. I’m a light sleeper, so I brought ear plugs for music and prayer calls, but I didn’t hear anything with them; others might sleep through it. Aside from that, there were no issues—staff were helpful, the food was nice, and overall it’s a pleasant place to stay.

“Good Italian stay in Watamu”

Nice place, good location, big variety of rooms. This place is a mix of hotel rooms and rooms/apartments people own, which feels weird as it seems tourists disturb local dwellers

The pool and proximity to the beach were great. On one day the water disappeared but was fixed, and there was no TV in the room.

Almost everything was perfect—service, style, and attention to detail. The only downside was breakfast, which was genuinely small and scant.
