Walnut Inn Roland

“I got in late & noticed things that weren't up to standard. I decided to go to sleep.”

Getting there was a breeze and the price was a steal, but the drywall around the shower, bathtub and toilet was halfway falling apart, with pieces of the texture hanging off and a spot that looked like mold was starting to grow; the floor was dusty and a bit dirty.

“Easy to book clean and comfortable!”

I was a solo female traveler who had just finished a 10‑hour drive from the southwest and desperately needed a break; the lady at the front desk who was there at 9 pm went out of her way to help me find my room and make me feel safe, and the owner himself was there the next morning, easy‑going and cheerful, making sure my stay was great—pure customer service! Nothing was wrong at all.

The hotel is close to the casino, but there is no breakfast.

“Great stay at pet friendly hotel”

We stayed for just one night on a cross‑country trip with our cats, and the room was clean, newly remodeled, and the price was excellent; the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, the hotel is pet friendly, access from the interstate was easy, and a diner sits just across the parking lot with a truck stop nearby.
