Everything was really good. The operators are extremely nice people who deserve a very good rating. You feel very welcome at their small castle. They provide breakfast and dinner, both tasty, with excellent wines, and the whole location is remarkable. You feel like a little noble from the Middle Ages. There is enough space to stay outside safely. Everything is lovingly prepared. If you’re looking for a few days of peace and nature, this is exactly right. There is also a remarkably large pool overlooking the small castle and horse pastures.

Superb Five‑Star Review – Château de Monsac, Dordogne Our stay at Château de Monsac was nothing short of exceptional, the kind of experience that stays with you long after you’ve left. Even though we arrived much later than planned, the warm welcome from Fabienne & Frédéric instantly set the tone. They greeted us with genuine kindness and showed us to our rooms without the slightest hint of inconvenience. Knowing local restaurants had were close to finished their evening service, our hosts recommended LE COULOBRE, a fantastic nearby restaurant that kindly accommodated us despite the late hour. That thoughtful gesture alone speaks volumes about the care and attention Fabienne & Frédéric give their guests. The Château Experience Returning later that evening, we finally had the chance to appreciate our beautifully spacious Château rooms, complete with four‑poster beds that made the whole experience feel wonderfully authentic. If you want the full French château experience, this is absolutely the place to stay. Proper cafetiere coffee in the room was a lovely touch waking up to that felt indulgent and homely at the same time. Breakfast to Remember Breakfast the next morning was simply outstanding. Everything was home cooked or home baked by our hosts using ingredients from the Château grounds. It was fresh, generous, and prepared with real passion. Over breakfast, we enjoyed getting to know Fabienne & Frédéric better, sharing stories and chatting about our mutual love of rugby. It made the whole experience feel personal and heartfelt. The Château in Daylight With daylight came the chance to see the full beauty of the Château and its grounds. It’s quiet, peaceful, and wonderfully secluded, offering the perfect environment to unwind completely. The setting is idyllic a place where time seems to slow down in the best possible way.
