“Staff were friendly and the hotel was in a great location, however it is very dated and we didn’t think it was good valu”

The location was excellent and we liked trying a traditional stay. The staff were clean and friendly. However, the building feels very old and needs a makeover. It sits right across from a park that becomes a popular late‑night hangout on weekends, so the noise was loud through thin windows. Additionally, a crow tried to get into our room every morning at 4am, waking us up.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to finish our trip to Japan; the hotel was very quiet, we enjoyed the baths throughout our stay, and the staff were fantastic. Thank you so much.

“Affordable ryokan experience at great location for kids .”

The hotel sits in a great part of town, right in front of a child’s playground, and the bath was nice. Nothing to add.

The only good thing was the location. The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom was a mess, and there was a strong smell of urine.
