The location is lovely, but there is clearly a need for indoor improvements, both in the main building and in the building where the rooms are. Mold in the shower seams.

Good bread and a good breakfast, plus a waffle iron. The location is impeccable 👍. I missed a hook or two in the bathroom and a bath mat would have been nice.

The charming old buildings give a sense of former grandeur, sit in lovely surroundings, and are a stone’s throw from fantastic bathing opportunities in the Krogshavn area. Nature and proximity to the sea offer plenty of recreation, and a short walk takes you to Langesund’s center and a selection of restaurants. Some facilities are missing for wheelchair users because of stairs and the lack of an elevator, the gravel driveway, etc.; there is a wheelchair ramp outside the main building by the reception and dining room.

We really liked the location, a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sunset, and we received an upgraded room because we were celebrating our 57th wedding anniversary.
