I never stayed in the hotel. Even though the terms said pets were allowed (for an extra fee), the man at the reception refused to accommodate my medium‑sized calm dog, claiming that only dogs under 10 kg are allowed – something that was never mentioned anywhere. So I arrived by train at 19 h, had paid for one night, my reservation was confirmed, and they said “we’re sorry and advise you how you can do it.” That approach felt wrong. Money was refunded and the hotel’s pet policy was changed to say pets are not allowed.
