“B&B with bells and whistles”
The welcome was warm, and I sank into comfy sofas with tea and cake by a roaring fire right after arriving. Fireside chats followed long walks, accompanied by a glass of wine, and the setting was perfect for escaping everything. Trails to Dovedale and the Manifold Valley start from the front door. We booked late, so we got the smallest room, but it was still more than enough, with an extremely comfortable bed and a great bathroom that had a walk‑in shower and a bathtub. Naomi seems to have thought of everything to create a shining example of English rural hospitality. Nothing negative.
