367 Caravan

We were equipped, but one toilet didn’t flush and the key pad failed. We had to repack the car to go out for a meal so we wouldn’t leave our belongings inside and risk theft.

The owner was wonderful to contact, and checking in and picking up the key was super easy. It’s a caravan, so it gets a bit chilly at night—that was our only complaint.

“All in all not pleasant”

Being with family, the gas fire didn’t work, electric leads overheat, the fan heater overheat, the fire extinguisher is outdated, windows don’t seal so we sat in a cold draft, the clock is broken, the bottom oven doesn’t work, washing up sits in the sink drain, the caravan needs a good vacuum but the cleaner is overflowing with uncertain debris, the caravan smells, the carpets are threadbare in places and need cleaning, one portable heater doesn’t work, the microwave is dirty especially on top and doesn’t work, we tried cleaning the sink tray and cutlery drawer, the steps up to the caravan are not suitable for older people and become very slippery when it rains.

That place provided so much; the previous place we stayed at only had the bare minimum of utensils and equipment. It was really fine, a little dated but that’s no criticism; we felt really at home there.

It was great, the facilities were great too. There was a lack of response from the host that concerned me; I didn’t get any reply messages from the portal, then I called, no answer but later I did get a response, it was the last moment before I was canceling. But it was worth going there.
