Location is solid—just a stone's throw from the beach. But the stay was a nightmare: power cut every day, water cut every day, shower water turned brown, the mosquito net was full of holes, the photos on the listing were a lie, the host never showed up to greet or say goodbye, no security—window wouldn't close, door jammed, the guy doing work next door could see us every morning, the sheets were ripped, and the single towel for two guests was dirty.

The staff were super friendly and attentive, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the constant power cuts that made it hard to keep the phone charged.

“Excelente estadía”

The hostel sits right in the center of Palomino, so you can hop to the main avenue or the beach in a jiffy. The rooms are comfy and the vibe is pleasant. Laura, who welcomed us, was really kind, always on hand, and gave great restaurant and activity tips. A solid choice if you want to stay in the heart of town.

The hostel's location is spot on, right where you want to be. The only gripe is that they don't clean the rooms daily, so you might find a bit of dust.
