The spot is good, close to the night market, and the room is clean. The in‑room facilities are too basic, only one bed and the only power outlet is far from the headboard. I booked a bus from the host for the next day at 8 am, but it was delayed an hour and a half without any notice.

We were greeted very warmly! The place is ideally located and we could chat with our host, who gave us loads of useful tips for exploring the area. We also booked our bus tickets directly with him and everything went smoothly. A great experience, highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Bamboo Hostel; the rooms were very comfortable, the pool was lovely, and the location let us grab breakfast right across the street and eat at the Night Market by the Mekong. We wanted to stay longer! The staff were wonderful, and the local cave‑tour service was very convenient. Perfect in every way!

The staff were helpful and accommodating. However, having to climb stairs to use the toilet could be a major issue in an emergency, and several street dogs barked after midnight.

Everything was simply not worth the price.
