It’s a little gem of a place, a small local public house with four rooms. I was on my normal commute to MK and usually stay in the centre of MK, but everything was booked so I had to look a little outside MK and found the Cowpers Oak. It’s a local small pub with friendly locals and staff, and the locals seem proud to support this pub, which made me like it even more. The evening meal was great with a free beer because of a special burger night, and breakfast was freshly cooked and spot on. The hosts were excellent, full of energy and pride in making sure your stay is the best. Best of all, it was the first time I stayed away and slept a full night! The place is so quiet after 10 pm (mid‑week), the beds are so comfortable. If you get a chance to stay for one night, book early—note it only has four rooms. Good luck booking in time! I will stay here again! Love it!
