“Excellent Stay in Naples Historic Center!”
I had a fantastic stay at L’arco e il vico! Giuseppe and Maria were amazing hosts, and their hospitality was unmatched. They escorted me to the property so I could find it easily. The property has an elevator, which was very convenient. The large room matched the pictures, was immaculately cleaned, and the balcony door windows had interior shutters that let me block the light for a quiet mid‑afternoon nap to fight jet lag. The room was very quiet, spacious, comfortable, with plenty of luggage space, a desk for writing or working, a comfortable bed, a full mirror, and a new, very effective air conditioning unit controlled easily via remote. The bathroom was contemporary, well‑appointed, and the shower had great water pressure. The shared kitchen in the common area was generously stocked with coffee, tea, and snacks. The best part of my stay was meeting Giuseppe and Maria. They took the time to share a map of Napoli, circling city attractions, museums, must‑see highlights, and to offer recommendations for my first visit to their beautiful city. The B&B is very centrally located and is convenient to the metro and all of the Historic Center. I walked to the National Archaeological Museum, the Caravaggio Museum, Via San Gregorio Armeno, and visited tons of local shops and restaurants. I was traveling alone and felt as safe as one could feel in any major city. The street food was delicious (as was the pizza, of course)! I did not have enough time to see everything on my list, but it is all the more reason to come back and stay at L’arco e il vico again! Check‑in and check‑out were very easy. City tax was payable separately on site. I truly felt welcomed and at home. Giuseppe and Maria extended such kindness, excellent service, and hospitality, like others have mentioned in their reviews—I felt that I gained family in Napoli
