I loved everything, especially the friendliness of the reception; we got the wrong location by our own mistake and were supposed to arrive at 19:00 but ended up almost at 22:00, stressed and ready to cry, but Muriel reassured us that it was nothing, that such things happen; it’s a very quiet, cozy and family‑friendly place, our room looked like a medieval movie room (I chose it deliberately) and we were fascinated; the room also had a “small” balcony with two very comfortable chairs; the breakfast was all local products and the jam and honey were excellent (she makes the jam, we took two jars and one honey jar made by another collaborator); you feel at home because the atmosphere is very family‑like; just a little lower there’s a river perfect for a refreshing swim and an excursion; in the town there are several things to visit, they have an abbey, we went to see a crafts exhibition… we had a small problem with the car and a “on‑call” mechanic in the town helped us… people are really kind. I RECOMMEND 100%.

We were especially drawn to the location itself and the charm of the house, the proximity to the water where we could swim, the spacious room with a fantastic canopy bed, the high‑end, fast and silent night‑mode air‑conditioning, the breakfasts on the terrace… and the helpful advice from our host. Nothing to complain about.

The place feels authentic, the room space is generous, and we could swim in both the pool and the river. The welcome and the local information were great. Breakfast was hearty, featuring fresh sheep cheese and homemade jams. It was a relaxing, rejuvenating stay, perfect for anyone wanting to spend a few days exploring the Catalan history of Vallespir. The property isn’t suitable for people with reduced mobility.
