The reception was very friendly, the breakfast was good, the surroundings are beautiful, and there’s a lot of peace and nature. The facilities feel a bit outdated.

“Preis-Leistung Frechheit”

I can’t think of anything positive, but it was quiet. After more than 30 years of frequent hotel stays, this one again blew me away. For so much money, the service was minimal even by coastal standards. The “hotel” was far off the main track, partly reachable only via bad roads and unpaved paths. The rooms were small, with an old‑fashioned mini‑TV. A dangerous step about 25 cm deep right in front of the door was justified by heritage protection. Breakfast was minimalistic with yesterday’s discount‑store rolls, later freshly baked again. All of this was no big deal; for 40 € less per night.

“Hätte schöner sein können!”

The staff were very friendly. The chef was also very nice and helpful. The garden was pretty, but it could use a bit of sprucing up. The manager seemed more focused on making money. The single rooms were very small and dark. As I was told, the nicer rooms are only given to guests staying longer than two nights. That’s a shame, because then I might have had a better impression and could have left a higher rating, especially since many rooms were free when I was there!

I love how the place sits in a tranquil spot, perfect for anyone who craves peace. Every day the buffet offers wild dishes, and you can also take them home. The hosts are super friendly and always up for a pleasant chat.
