GRAND HOTEL SOGDIANA

A nice hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and very clean. Guests get free use of the aqua park. Breakfast is varied and tasty. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, plus a large shopping centre. Attractions are a bit far, but taxis are cheap and fast to anywhere. The gym was not operational and massages were not available.

What I liked most about the stay was the sense of safety the hotel gave me; I knew I always had a good place to return to after daily activities. The staff were very welcoming; each time we approached the reception they stood up, greeted us warmly, and made us feel welcome. Housekeeping was also excellent, clearly reflecting the good effort of the employees. Service from all staff was first‑class, and I want to highlight Umed at reception – he was incredibly friendly, professional, and service‑oriented, making our stay even better. What I didn’t like was the water quality in the aquapark; it seemed unclean, especially in the kids’ pool, where visible particles and impurities made us feel unsafe swimming. I hope management prioritizes better cleaning and water treatment, especially in areas intended for small children, to provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for all guests.

Good breakfasts, cleaning, staff, and an aquapark! The only issue was the lack of sound insulation on the room doors – everything happening or said in the lobby was clearly audible.
