Good. The bed and the room were not great.

The room was very nice and had two windows that let in plenty of air. The bathroom was also very pretty and functional. The only downside was that there was just one blanket for the large bed, which was a bit annoying because there was always a gap. At breakfast the staff seemed distracted by chatting with locals; if we hadn’t asked, we probably would have missed the coffee.

A warm welcome greeted me, and the local cuisine was excellent, with a friendly chef adding to the experience.

The staff are very kind and welcoming. There’s a lovely outdoor terrace, especially the one under the vines. The restaurant serves delicious dishes, and I ate very well! Thanks for letting my dog stay without extra charge (the only room I booked didn’t request it). The room was spacious, clean, and offered a wide selection of TV channels, even in French. The hotel’s location in the village is great, close to hiking trails, and there’s even a swimming spot with a waterfall less than 5 minutes away. It’s a good place for one or two nights. The hotel also functions as a bar where many locals come from early morning or late at night. There’s noise, and especially a door (between the stairwell and the bar) on the ground floor that bangs nonstop from 6 am. My room faced the road, but the noise didn’t bother me (maybe less traffic on the weekend?). However, the walls between rooms are very thin and I wasn’t treated kindly by my neighboring guest (who seems to be a regular): he moved furniture, snored, burped, farted, spat… all the time, at any hour. There are no places to leave belongings in the room. I also found no outlet in the main room and had to use the bathroom’s outlet to charge my phone, phone, etc. Rooms are only reachable by stairs.
