This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Throughout my stay I ran into constant problems, poor service, and staff who kept breaking promises. First, I was given a room that was completely different from the one I had booked. When I asked to change rooms, I was offered another one, but it was also in terrible condition. In the end, I had to change rooms for the third time, after which it became clear that the issue wasn’t limited to a single room—many rooms in the hotel were similarly bad. The air conditioning was a serious problem; either the units didn’t work at all, or cold air blew directly onto the bed and my head while I slept. The elevator was out of order for the entire stay. Every time, the staff promised it would be “fixed soon,” but that never happened, so I had to climb the stairs to the top floor each time. I also tried the rooftop café for dinner, but almost nothing on the menu was available. The staff had to go outside and buy food, and even then they didn’t bring everything I ordered. On top of that, the food cost about 20 times more than it would have on the street. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing: no soap or toilet paper in the bathrooms, many things broken or in disrepair, and the general cleanliness and condition of the premises raised serious concerns. The most frustrating part was the constant promises from the staff that were never kept. Instead of actually fixing the problems, I repeatedly heard that everything would be “fixed soon.” I strongly do not recommend this hotel. If you can stay elsewhere, I urge you to do so. It’s simply not worth risking your time or money.

We stayed here for a few days and it was a great choice. The view of the Pyramids from the window was beautiful, and the room was clean and tidy. The price was really good, and we could communicate easily with the staff in English and Russian.
