I stayed at a cozy little hotel with a great spot to explore Simrishamn and Österlen up close. Breakfast was nice, with tasty little pastries and a fruit‑jam toast. I was surprised to learn that dogs were allowed at breakfast.

The staff greeted us warmly and the service was lovely; the breakfast room was beautifully illuminated with candles. The homemade jam was a real highlight! Our room was right next to the entrance, and the heavy door would shake the room whenever people didn’t close it gently—perhaps a reminder sign would help.
