“Terrible location if you’re visiting Ohio State. Bad WiFi and very poor breakfast buffet. But it’s a clean hotel.”

The place was clean, but the location was terrible for Ohio State University—17th Street is closed, forcing cars to take a longer loop. There’s nothing to eat within walking distance except a McDonald’s, and the Wi‑Fi is, without exaggeration, the worst I’ve experienced in probably 20 years. The buffet breakfast isn’t worth it, even if it’s included.

The hotel was very convenient for our horse show at the State Fairgrounds, but the room wasn’t the cleanest—nothing horrible, just not great. I would stay again.

“Dont waste your money”

The front‑desk staff were nice, but that was the only good thing. When we pulled into the parking lot, a random man on a bicycle circled my car about six or more times; I was a mom alone with three kids, so I couldn’t even get out of the car until he left. The room smelled musty. The pool was filthy and cold, with hairballs all over the floor. There’s a hole in the ceiling of the pool room that lets nasty roof water into the pool when it rains. The tile in the bathroom was coming up slightly and gave my child a small cut on the bottom of his foot.

“Would never stay here again.”

The location was close to the expo center, but the room was dirty and shabby. The coffee was cold with grounds in it, and the shampoo was empty.

“The staff was super friendly and helpful. The easy stay made our trip pleasurable.”

The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast had a nice variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lighting could be upgraded—hopefully that will happen in the future.
