The food (breakfast and dinner) was very good and the service staff were friendly and attentive. Our balcony room was tastefully renovated and we liked it well. The greeting from the receptionist on duty that day was unfortunately off (unfriendly and argumentative) – not a good start to the holiday. The hotel is in the middle of the village on a through‑street, so sleeping with the window open is somewhat difficult. A criticism of the Paznauntal, not the hotel: besides the daily local tax (4,20 per day per person) you must also pay a mandatory Destination Charge of 7 € per day per person. This ingenuity of taking extra money from guests for a service they don’t need or want is clearly too much – you can also enjoy great hikes elsewhere.

The hotel and its facilities are pleasant and inviting for relaxation. The spa and indoor pool area are very nice and clean. At dinner we arrived at the scheduled time (19:45 h), but after an hour we were told we should leave. Too bad, the food was fine, but in the end we couldn’t enjoy it.

The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The location was perfect for us, as the start of the Ferwall march was directly opposite the hotel. Nothing, everything was good.
