The room and view were good, but it was missing a TV even though that was listed. When we asked, the staff said the building had no TV and seemed to know about the listing. They offered no compensation, just saying the room was cheap because of the season. We were the only guests that night. Breakfast info was only given if we asked; it was supposed to have pho, noodles, and bánh mì, but the bánh mì was missing and the pho tasted bland, lacking herbs or seasonings. In short, it’s not worth waking up between 7 and 9 a.m. The hotel is a 15‑minute drive from the city center, and you have to call a taxi because the road is in poor condition. There is no Grab service, and the host didn’t tell us this despite us asking before arrival. Payment was also a hassle: after booking I learned I had to pay 50 % upfront or the room would be given away. The listing said “payment before arrival,” so I assumed I could pay the full amount through the booking system, but that wasn’t the case. I ended up paying in cash with no change, so I had to scrape together the exact amount. Overall, the room is nice and good for a short break if you don’t have special needs, but the staff are incompetent and seem to try to take advantage of you.
