I hit a major highlight on my Via Claudia bike trip at this spot. The location was “top” for me, even though I cursed the uphill push of my bike. Once I got up, everything was fine again. The last 1,5 km of the journey was a brutal climb! Kronburg itself is a dream village. My room was plain but had everything I needed. The bike was safely stored in the Bike‑Room, where e‑bikes can also charge. The staff were very friendly. Dinner was good and breakfast even better. Strong recommendation for anyone wanting to tackle the mountain.
