The hostel sits in a great spot near the station, with a market and pharmacy just around the corner, and Vila Madalena is lively with many bars nearby. The staff are very welcoming, and the hostel offers a group for guests to mingle, which is great for solo travelers looking for company, plus a solid program. Besides lodging, the hostel doubles as a bar with fair prices for the area, and it feels cozy. Those who aren’t into a party scene won’t be bothered by the bar at all. The accommodation is very comfortable, and I’ll definitely return whenever I’m back in São Paulo. The only downside is having to leave.

If you’re after a lively hostel with activities, this isn’t it. The rooms are decent, but there are better value options in the area. A major drawback is that you can’t use the hostel after checkout; you’re forced to stay outside the bar area.

Great location, spacious and comfortable bathroom, and a quiet, peaceful environment! The only thing I didn’t like was that they removed the hair dryer from the women’s bathroom, which used to be there.
