I had a private room with an en‑suite bathroom and a view of the pool, which looked beautiful when lit at night. Parking was safe and secure for my car, and the place was peaceful and relaxing. I’m not sure if it’s a regular issue or just a one‑off, but there was a tiny cockroach in my room and the toilet—this was my second stay in the same room and the second time I found one, so I’m not sure what to do about it. Also, the small gap between the cupboard and shower near the floor isn’t ideal; closing it might give people peace of mind. I think you should address the outside poolside room or something.

The rooms were roomy, the bathroom had a large tub that was a definite highlight, and the kitchen was spotless and fully equipped. I was disturbed by noise early Saturday morning, and it worried me that there was no security and the receptionist, who wasn’t very competent, had to handle a drunk guest.

I was outside the house and really enjoyed that, plus the heated blankets were a nice touch. The bathroom lights, however, didn’t work.

The bed was comfy, rooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked, and the staff were amazing, helpful and friendly – it felt like a home away from home. The Wi‑Fi was sometimes weak.
