“Berbat bir deneyimdi”
I liked how big the room was, larger than I expected. The reviews praised the breakfast, but it's not a buffet; you pick from a menu—one egg, one side dish, one dessert, and drinks are included. The food was tasty, but there was nothing else good to say about the hotel. Everything was a problem, so I'll list them: 1) The minibar was missing, so you can't get cold drinks; you have to order room service, and if you’re thirsty at 3 am you’ll find no water. The water you get is filtered and terrible, never drank it. 2) There was no safe in the room, so we left the door open and were constantly scared of theft. 3) There was no extra item allowance; the only things you can use in the room are single-use slippers, a toothbrush, toothpaste, ear cotton, and cotton—everything else is in the room and costs extra. 4) The wardrobe was a “club” type, so even in a large room we had to store everything elsewhere. The design was considered, but comfort and needs were ignored. 5) The door kept rubbing against the floor, so we worried it might fall. 6) The shower had no glass, water splashed everywhere, and the floor collected water up to 7 cm deep. 7) The mirror was only in the bathroom, so after dressing my skirt got wet. 8) You can’t even ask for a iron; they say it’s a health and safety issue. Everything at the hotel is paid for. 9) I had many complaints about the concierge, but I can’t list them all; the team was neither skilled nor experienced. 10) We had an incident: the entrance (150 cm wide) had a 70 cm wide iron grille that was meant to keep the door open and had unreadable writing. You step up a step and find a large reception area with a big table and a huge iron grille. I hit the iron on the right side, and it stuck. We tried to explain that it was dangerous and a risk for exits, but the staff said, “If you had looked, you would have seen. No one has hit it yet.” 11) The hotel feels like a maze. There’s no elevator to the rooms, so you must use stairs. Anyone needing assistance can’t stay here.
