The room was spacious, the location was good, and the staff were friendly, plus they supplied water, crisps, and biscuits. However, the rooftop space advertised online was filthy and had no seating, and the floor in the room itself was dirty. Even though there was a menu in the room, we couldn’t get any food.

It was really cozy and nice, with plenty of windows and a quiet garden on the roof that offered a nice break from city life below. The place was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff were always helpful.

The accommodation was well maintained, had a kettle, good bedding, hot water, and very pleasant staff; breakfast was served well. The neighborhood is great, close to the ghates and small nice restaurants, so I recommend it. I was disappointed that the terrace lacked chairs or a sofa for sun‑reading, and the monkeys in the area are noisy at night, though I understand that’s beyond their control.

The location is great—just 5 minutes from the river and tucked into quiet alleys. Sujit, the manager, is very warm and friendly and even makes a tasty omelette for breakfast. The Mona Lisa Café, 5 minutes away, offers an excellent food selection. The guest house is very good value. The duvet and bedding were a bit stained and need updating.
