A very quiet house. Well‑equipped room. A restaurant or snack spot nearby would be nice.

The hotel sits in a prime spot with food shops within walking distance and a bio‑organic bistro right below. Thick stone walls make the building very quiet. My room felt a bit spartan but still very comfortable. The staff were very kind, though the door lock mechanism took a little getting used to and the bathroom cleaning could have been more meticulous.

The stay was generally friendly. The explanation on arrival day was a bit thin, but Germany still isn’t a service‑oriented country, we know that… it could still be done differently, even though someone semi‑professional was at the reception. The only thing I didn’t find okay for this price was that the TV sometimes didn’t play channels cleanly, it was interrupted. That’s unnecessary these days; maybe check it again (Nr. 534). Breakfast was a bit meager.

I had a large, nice, and clean room with everything I needed. It was a comfortable stay and the people were friendly. The fact that it’s located in a retirement home and equipped accordingly didn’t bother me, but it gives a unique vibe.
