The location is fine, hot water, fridge, electric kettle, and the host is welcoming and responsive. The linen and pillows had a bad smell, the shower cabin isn’t sealed so water leaks onto the floor, towels are extremely poor quality and very old, the bed is shabby, the walls are dirty, the view isn’t inspiring, noise from outside, neighbors, and the corridor is annoying, the stairs are VERY steep making it hard to move luggage up and down, and there are only plastic glasses—no ceramic or class cups and they aren’t clean enough.

“Super comfortable stay”

It’s very quiet yet central, the beds are the most comfortable, and there are free washing machines. It’s honestly one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed in Vietnam.

“A series of major failures—lacks hygiene, maintenance, and hospitality.”

Nothing positive to note; although it might be cheaper than other options, it offers no value for money and it’s baffling that it has a “Wonderful rating.” I usually favor boutique hotels for their unique charm and personalized service, but this property delivered none of that, resulting in a highly frustrating chain of misfortunes. Check‑in failed because the digital front door access code didn’t work—an unacceptable failure for a place that markets itself as smart. The bedroom linens were soiled, yellowed, and contained multiple strands of hair right out of the box. The mattress was excessively soft and clearly worn, and the bathroom water pressure was extremely weak. Staff responses were unprofessional, lacking any boutique charm, and they were neither friendly nor apologetic when I raised issues; their personal presentation also fell below acceptable cleanliness standards. Overall, this stay was a very bad deal that missed the mark on basic hospitality, cleanliness, and guest comfort—avoid at all costs.

“Really comfortable stay, highly recommend!”

The stay was very comfortable, located just off a main road in District 1 yet still very quiet, and it offered great value for money.

I liked that the washing machine and dryer were included in the price; the room was very clean and had everything I needed.
