I was disappointed with our stay, especially the reception and how we were treated. We had booked and paid through Booking. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay an extra 200 DH. I explained that the amount shown in my reservation was already paid and that taxes were included in the Booking price. After showing my booking, I was told they would check with the manager. He later called me and, instead of just explaining the situation, he spoke very unpleasantly, even saying, “If you don’t have money, I’ll pay myself.” I found that way of speaking completely inappropriate toward a customer. We were also uncomfortable with some remarks during our stay, such as being told not to run the air‑conditioning 24 h/24. I understand a hotel may have rules, but they should be clearly communicated and presented respectfully. Another very unpleasant point: an elderly man working on site spoke loudly and followed us to the terrace while we were just trying to settle in quietly. We felt constantly watched, which prevented us from fully enjoying the place and feeling at ease. We also noticed a difference in how Moroccan and foreign guests were treated, which was especially disappointing. The only real positive was a young staff member who was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. He welcomed us warmly, assisted us when needed, and even accompanied us when we went out at night. We truly want to highlight his professionalism and kindness.
