The location and the staff were good. The white lights in the room, the lack of any facilities to make a hot drink or have a snack, and not enough hot water—they ran out all the time and didn’t last long enough for all of us to shower.

This place is so beautiful, classic, and peaceful. We absolutely love it. Clean and comfortable rooms and warm hosts with a restaurant downstairs and optional breakfast.

We were planning a weekend getaway, and since we’d dined here before, we thought “why not have a big dinner with lots of wine and craft beer, and just stay the night instead of driving 2 hours back?” So we did. Great food (!), good prices for dinner, drinks, and the room. Remember to buy some beer and wine to take home (better prices than most shops). The mattress was way too hard for me (my wife liked it though). Also, there was a faint cigarette smell in the room (there was even a clean ashtray, so smoking seems allowed). Oh, choose room 102 or 103 (“family room” I guess?) – they have a larger terrace.

The staff were very polite and helpful. It’s family‑owned, giving that informal, friendly vibe. The location is great as a base for local excursions. The restaurant food is excellent, and they use their own produce in the kitchen. Their own beer “Mastros” with four varieties is superb. The bed was a bit hard for my personal preference.
