“It was ok”

The lock on caravan door D4 is dangerous; if you’re inside it takes ages to open, posing a fire risk, and unlocking it from the outside is a nightmare. I’m puzzled by the difference between a chalet and a caravan, and I couldn’t find the dates the indoor swimming pool is open – it’s not exactly “high season.” The clubhouse was fine, but I’m not a dog lover, so it was odd to have a no‑dog area.

The caravan was clean and comfortable, though I was tired and felt it needed updating. The owner handled my queries quickly. The downside was its position: no view, tucked in a corner with sights of oil tanks and an electricity sub‑station.

The location was good for exploring the area, and the static caravan was clean. The pool wasn’t great, but I didn’t use it much.

“Met my expectations admirably. No issues whatsoever.”

The caravan was spotless; I couldn’t fault the product or the care taken for what a visitor needs. The main barrier’s number‑plate recognition camera didn’t read my plate after dusk, so I had to exit and re‑enter using a code, and then input a code into my car to make it move – it was all very tricky.

Just got back from a fantastic week at Harries Lodge. The weather was great, so we spent our days on New Quay beach and exploring the charming village a few minutes by car away. Even though it was a heatwave, the caravan stayed cool and comfy. The owners keep everything in top shape—clean on arrival and stocked with everything we could need. The park is tidy and peaceful, and logging into our Netflix account was a breeze for a movie night. I’d love to return to New Quay soon and would definitely book here again. Thanks for making our summer 2026 holiday unforgettable!
