The view is beautiful, and both the room and food were good, but it’s quite far from the Mcloidgunj market; without a vehicle you’d spend 500 rupees one way and it would take about half an hour due to heavy traffic and narrow roads.

I was impressed by the room, the balcony, and the view – it was truly amazing. The restaurant in the evening featured an incredible live band and the food was delicious. The lemon tree sits in a spot surrounded by nature. However, I wish there were an all‑weather swimming pool. On the way to the hotel, there were hardly any sign boards, making it hard to locate the hotel, and Google Maps misdirected me several times; proper signage is needed. I felt the stay was overpriced, paying about 17000 for a single night.

The staff were warm and friendly, and the breakfast was awesome. The property is very comfortable, complete with a balcony and a picturesque view.

The location was fine. I was extremely disappointed with my experience. Despite paying around ₹20,000 per night, the chef replied, “This is not Taj, we have limited menu options,” which is unacceptable and shows poor customer service. The food quality fell short of expectations, and the menu was very limited. The GM behaved unprofessionally and inappropriately. Overall, the hospitality standards were far below what one would expect at that price.
