The location was good for work. We stayed in room 17 on the lower floor. The room was very tired and desperately needed a refit. The bath soap dispenser was empty upon arrival, so I asked reception to replace it ASAP and to tidy the room with fresh towels. They only cleaned the room on the third day, even though you’re working, man.

The young receptionist welcomed us. The room and bathroom were clean, and the size was good for the price. However, the bed was soggy and lumpy. The room was hot, and opening the window let in motorway noise. We found a fan in the morning! The lack of soundproofing and the restless people above us were a problem; they walked heavily and stayed out late. We had an early start and were exhausted all day.

I liked the location—it had everything I needed right at hand. As a disabled guest, I would have preferred the system hanging rail in the wardrobe to be accessible so I could hang my clothes, but otherwise the room was fine for my needs.

The place was clean and comfortable. The location was good, staff friendly, and breakfast was great. The only downside was the lack of hangers for clothes and a wall picture.
