“Reposant”

The spot is close to the pier.

Nothing was working and everything was worn out. No AC, no hot water, no toilet paper, all dirty. Everything looked like 50 years old with no maintenance.

The room was decent and clean, the shower was decent and clean, the utility equipment was in good condition. The restaurant menu offered little variety, there was no generator for power cuts, and the kettle was plastic – it should have been aluminum or stainless steel.

The staff were friendly and tried to meet our needs. The location was convenient enough, and it was nice to have close enough access to the ocean. There was confusion about our booking upon arrival, there was only one towel in the room and no toilet paper. It seemed basically unprepared and not that clean. We thought there would be easy access to the beach, but you had to go out the main hotel gate and down a public path. The restaurant was ok; we only ate there once, as it wasn't inspiring or nice. When we asked for a top sheet, the one they gave us had a big hole, then the next day our sheet was polyester. Wouldn't bother to return. Too much for the price, and not good enough to want to come back.
