Excellent location for walking around the city, very friendly staff, a large room with balcony, good breakfast. Parking was not available and the furniture was a bit worn.

Great spot for walking around Ponta Delgada and exploring São Miguel, and the hotel staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us; the included breakfast was excellent, and we dined twice at their restaurant and enjoyed the traditional dishes. However, the previous occupants of our room smoked in a non‑smoking room, so while it smelled fine on arrival it filled with a smoke odor when the air conditioner was turned on.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good, but the room was close to and higher up than the restaurant, so the kitchen noise while tidying up was very loud.
