The hot spring and breakfast were the best parts, but the cleaning felt a bit lacking in some corners.

The hotel sits in a quiet business district, about a 10‑minute walk from Kokura Station, and is close to Tanga Market and Kokura Castle; my room was cleaner and larger than typical Japanese business hotel rooms, and the staff were very helpful, offering bottled water and fresh towels, plus free laundry detergents. However, the hallway was a bit dark, and it would help if they could brighten it up and replace the carpets.
