“Great facilities! So nice to have everything in the one place.”

I liked the hotel’s pool, spa and dining, and the room was roomy while breakfast in the dining room was spot‑on every day. However, our room faced the back kitchen entrance, so deliveries and staff traffic were constant. Each morning at 7 am the staff blasted music that seeped into our room and woke us up, which was annoying when we were trying to relax and enjoy slow mornings. There was also a strong artificial scent in the lobby and around the rear car park that was awful; I avoided breathing it in, especially because I’m pregnant and want to stay away from synthetic smells.

“Modern, comfortable and well located hotel.”

The hotel’s location was great, within walking distance of shops, cafés and restaurants. The room was modern and very comfortable, and the breakfast in the restaurant with water views was very good. The pool looked fantastic, but we couldn’t use it because of the weather. Parking right next to the room was easy. The only downside was having to walk outside in the rain to get from the room to the restaurant or reception.

The older part of the hotel was beautiful, and the Asian restaurant downstairs served incredible food. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were lovely with comfortable beds. Unfortunately, our key didn’t work when we arrived, so we stood in the rain and cold for a long time. On the last day our complimentary breakfast didn’t arrive after we ordered, and we had a ferry to catch, which was disappointing.

“Transported to a little slice of heaven in Sorrento.”

Our room had a balcony with an amazing view that far surpassed our expectations. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the Marlo Spa was stunning. We didn’t want to leave.
