The staff were exceptionally welcoming and the rooms were stunning; staying in a cave room felt unique and fun. The pool and sauna were lovely for relaxing, and the village was much quieter and more picturesque than the larger towns in Cappadocia, with Monastery Valley and several nice restaurants right on our doorstep.

The location, the rooms, and the ambience were good, yet I was extremely disappointed with our stay at this highly rated hotel. For a two‑hour horseback ride with two adults and two children I paid 440 €; the booking and arrangements were handled by the hotel. The actual riding time was far shorter than the promised two hours—even when pauses were counted. The next day we booked a two‑hour quad tour with two quads. I had told the guide beforehand that we wanted as few breaks as possible so we could enjoy the ride with my wife and kids. The real driving time was only 45 minutes instead of the two hours. When I asked if we could ride longer, the guide answered “No.” Only after I complained again to the manager did he say a longer ride might have been possible. This contradictory behavior is incomprehensible and unacceptable. Additionally, smoking continues heavily in the dining area. I understand that smoking is more common in Turkey, but for many European guests—especially families with children and non‑smokers—constant cigarette smoke during meals is very uncomfortable. From a hotel with such a high rating I expected far more consideration. Overall, I feel that a lot of money is charged for services that are not delivered as agreed, bordering on a scam. It is especially disheartening that all of this occurs in a hotel that is otherwise so well reviewed, which is why our expectations were so high.

The staff are amazing: Gomze, Anas Hussien and Mustafa are very helpful and super friendly. Nothing else.

The resort is stunning with uniquely decorated rooms that feel well appointed. The meals were amazing, especially the pumpkin dessert. Everyone on the staff was welcoming and ready to help whenever needed. We liked that the location kept us away from the busy streets of Goreme.
