The lodge’s location is great; we could walk everywhere. There are many restaurants and cafés nearby. The staff were extremely polite, attentive, and friendly. We were warmly welcomed by the employee Tati, who explained everything clearly, and the stay was very peaceful. The parking isn’t on the lodge, but it’s very close and they drive you there, which is no more than a three‑minute walk from the lodge. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was delicious.

From the moment we arrived I felt embraced by this place; STL already brings that vibe, but staying at Pousada Maciel was a perfect match. The early breakfast, the friendliness of all the staff, the attentive care, the freedom, and being right in the center made it great for walking everywhere. I couldn't find anything I didn't like, everything was very impressive, but if I had to mention something, two of our outlets were poorly wired, they made a clunking noise when we plugged in our phone charger, and the TV could have been smart so we could access streaming services; maybe that's a city issue.
