The host was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and had enough space for a large group or family. The location was excellent, right in the center of things, within walking distance of the traditional market, the promenade, and E Mart, plus plenty of restaurants, shops, cafés, and bars nearby. On the downside, the kitchen was more of a kitchenette; the microwave was broken after a day, there were no basic utensils like mugs and spoons, no stove for cooking, and no sink in the dining area, which made preparing and sharing food difficult. It would have been nicer if it were cleaner—the cabinets were cluttered, and crumbs from previous guests were still under the beds and mattresses. Luckily the host was lovely, so I didn’t focus too much on the cleanliness issues.
