“Tout près de la gare”
The small room’s proximity to the station is a plus, especially for solo travelers or those moving between cities, but the portable air‑con unit is noisy because it isn’t wall‑mounted.

The place is well situated, but the staff demanded an extra 50 € cash for a late check‑in, threatening to lock the door at 23:00 and mark me as a no‑show—an unannounced, extortionate policy that left me with no choice.

The location is superb, close to several high‑quality restaurants, making it the ideal spot for our first night in Italy before heading to Florence by fast rail the next morning. Nothing really stands out as a drawback; it’s a quirky little place with a great spot.

The spot was unbeatable—under five minutes on foot from Rome Termini—and my room was immaculate with a comfortable bed and pillows. Initially the TV wouldn’t turn on, but the young front‑desk guy fixed it right away by calling support and following the setup steps, getting it working in minutes. Every staff member was fantastic, going above and beyond with warm smiles, respect, and professionalism. A huge thank you to the whole team! The only flaw was the older air‑conditioning unit that, after about 20 minutes, made a loud noise, forcing me to lower the temperature or shut it off. While I understand this is a mechanical issue beyond the front‑desk’s control, management should definitely consider upgrading or repairing it.

The cleanliness and proximity to everything surprised me.
