The experience was disappointing—definitely not a 4‑star hotel. I am deeply disappointed with my stay at Hotel Alsago Lux. Although they advertise themselves as a 4‑star property, the reality is far from it. The staff are completely unprofessional, struggling significantly with basic communication and mastering neither Croatian nor English. Getting assistance or simple information was a constant challenge. The rooms are extremely cramped; the layout makes no sense—you can practically wash your hands in the bathroom sink while lying in bed. The bathroom is an absolute nightmare: the shower is so tiny you can barely turn around, and the sink is positioned so poorly right in front of the toilet that you cannot even sit down properly. Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired; the room was not properly cleaned, which is unacceptable for a hotel in this category. We paid €110 per night, which is an absolute rip‑off for what they offer. This place is worth €50 per night at best. Save your money and look elsewhere.
