The room was filthy and ancient, and the mattress was terrible—so bad I had to lie with my head toward the foot of the bed to sleep. At night, indistinct loud noises and people moving around the rooms made me feel scared and uncomfortable, so I was glad to check out the next morning.

The bedding wasn’t clean, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, the fixtures were dirty or dusty, and the entire room smelled like chemicals.
