I booked a family room for 7–9 February 2026, confirmed via WhatsApp and a phone call, yet when I arrived with my elderly parents the receptionist said the booking wasn’t confirmed and that the place had been fully booked for four months. I asked why the reservation, confirmed on 26 January, was suddenly voided, but the receptionist couldn’t explain. Speaking with the owner, I was told it was my fault for not paying an advance, even though I was never told an advance was required or asked for during the 26 January confirmation call. The receptionist even asked me to leave to avoid “making a nuisance,” which felt deeply insulting. The hardest part was forcing my father, who uses a walking stick, to climb to the first floor and back down for nothing. The receptionist eventually apologized but offered no real solution. I’ve learned a hard lesson about paying advances regardless of whether they’re requested. While I understand online bookings can be risky for owners, their lack of communication and poor service—especially regarding senior accessibility—needs major improvement. I can’t rate the rooms since I didn’t stay, but the management was highly disappointing.
