The room was large, clean, and the staff were efficient, but it smelled musty like old cigarettes, had a crappy view, and should have offered butter for the toast.

The breakfast that comes with the room was surprisingly thoughtful, more than just a menu; I liked the simple spread of toast, juice, yogurt, grilled eggs, cheese, cereal, and cup ramen for a light morning. The air‑conditioner and bathtub in the bathroom helped me unwind after travel, and the water dispenser and espresso machine in the lobby made coffee better than at a café. The location is obviously the best spot for a trip to Busan. The only downside was that the room lighting was a bit dim.

I stayed in room 205, and despite concerns about cleanliness from reviews, that room was fine. Next to it were the dining area and laundry room, where coffee, water, and hot water were free 24/7, a microwave was available, and there were two free washing machines and dryers. An LG unit that deodorizes and sterilizes clothes was also present. Breakfast included milk, orange juice, pineapple juice, apple juice, cereal, boiled eggs, bread, and cup noodles, which is handy for families who don’t like Korean food. I assumed the front of the room was frequently used, but I barely felt anyone’s presence. The building had a love‑hotel vibe, yet the hallway soundproofing seemed decent. The bathroom was spacious, with a shower‑tub combo and a separate rain shower; the toilet was in a separate room. The bed was close to a king‑size and a single, so three people slept comfortably. The room itself was large, with a dining table and a long counter that were useful. It’s less than a five‑minute walk from Chagalti Station, surrounded by stalls and shops, which is convenient. For summer vacation, paying under 10,000 won for three people here is great. The only complaints: being on the second floor, street noise was a bit audible, and at times there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke from outside smokers. The street in front of the entrance didn’t feel very Japanese and had a sewage‑like odor. The room’s ambience was a bit dark and the hallway had a love‑hotel feel, which might bother some; however, many Korean families with small children used it, and high school students might be more concerned. The front door opens outward, and when I opened it I almost hit someone, so caution is needed. Only one key card was given, and when it’s removed all the room lights go off, so if one family member leaves it can be troublesome. The air‑conditioner turns off when you leave, so depending on the season you may return to a hot or cold room. The bathroom and toilet have glass partitions; some frosted glass is present, but groups might find it awkward. There is no safety deposit box or closet. Cleaning probably doesn’t happen during the stay (the lack of a safety deposit box could be seen as a benefit). Towels are provided but not as large as bath towels. I didn’t notice any odors.

The location was the only thing that was great. I have never experienced such a bad hotel. The facilities were catastrophic – some bathroom tiles were broken, the mirror was sideways and had a weird color on the edge. The walls were covered with dead flies and blood, absolutely disgusting. It was very dirty, you only get three small towels and they never clean. There is a “sleep” or “clean” function in front of the door, but it was broken – it kept blinking only on “sleep” and I couldn’t change it. Whenever I wanted to go to the reception to ask if my room could be cleaned, nobody was there. For four days my trash was never taken out and I didn’t get fresh towels. Some furniture was broken and there were a lot of cobwebs under the table. The room was full of flies because the window was open when I checked in. The toilet’s switch was broken – you couldn’t use the bidet function, it kept blinking green and red and the light was so bright that it woke me up at night. Once a night the door kept ringing, but no one was there. And as said, every time I wanted to talk to staff, nobody was around. This hotel traumatized me; I would never stay there even for free.
