We only stayed one night because we had to catch a flight, so for a brief visit it was fine; the room and bathroom were functional by Tokyo standards, and the beds were very comfortable. The area is ideal—Ueno Zoo is nearby, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, plus a Family Mart and 7‑11 that are handy. The room felt a bit cramped, but that’s probably normal for Tokyo, and the windows can’t be opened, so you’re stuck with the air‑con for fresh air.
