The location is beautiful, with stunning jungle valley views. Our suite was huge with a massive balcony, and the atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, owner Mariah was away in Sulawesi until our last night. Staff Tieny and Ramadhan were lovely but didn’t speak English, which made communication a bit tough.

An exceptional establishment: a contemporary family house with Indonesian/Balinese style, breathtaking views, attentive house staff, an extraordinary breakfast, and a room (or rather a suite) worthy of a 5‑star hotel. The approach road can be a bit scary, especially the last few metres, and you might wonder where you’re going to land if you haven’t taken a wrong turn.
