The location was great, the staff were friendly, and parking was clean and easy. However, at this price point the standard is usually a bit higher; the hotel is clean but more of a mid‑class feel. The rooms were very small and the furniture was older. The view from the window looked into an inner block where there was noise.

The restaurant in the hotel was the highlight, with stellar cuisine, and the breakfast was excellent.

The reception was friendly, the room was quiet and the walk to the city centre was short. The bike garage in the renovated basement was nice and clean, and the breakfast was outstanding.

Because we hadn’t noticed that the room we booked had a shared bathroom, we were able to switch rooms on site without hassle; the new room was perfect and the location was very quiet.
