El Motor Inn, located in Port Macquarie's centre, offers free WiFi and is a 5-minute walk from The Hastings River, opposite the Glasshouse Entertainment Centre. Air-conditioned rooms feature flat-screen TVs and some have private balconies overlooking the pool. The El Cafe serves breakfast and dinner, with al fresco dining available. Free private parking and shuttle services to the bus station and airport are provided.

The staff were friendly :) The Superior/Luxe room looked a bit dated, which we had seen in the photos. We also found hairs near the toilet, raising concerns about overall cleanliness. The bed was very soft, which is a matter of taste. For one night it was acceptable, but I wouldn’t stay longer. At about €150 per night, the price felt a bit high for what was provided.

We stopped at El Motor Inn while traveling from Brisbane to Bathurst and back, so the stay was very brief. The location was perfect, within walking distance of shops and the waterfront. Parking for larger vehicles with trailers is available, but you need to book ahead because space is limited. The rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows. A small fridge with drinks for purchase was included. The staff were friendly.
